I feel like, over the course of the class and through the still image projects that were identified by themes, I grew a lot in my photo taking, and the trajectory of change was my awareness of what I was taking photos of. Through each project, I proceeded to become more dynamic with what I was doing and follow the line of simplicity that stood out in each photo. For example, for still image #4, it was about identifying objects in a spatial area and making it the focus of the photo. The last photo in the gallery gives that object a remedy, as it’s not in a common space you would find it, but rather between two cabinets, perfectly standing out. Overall, I think my photos throughout the course show my creativity relatively similarly, but pronounced in different ways. I think I learned more ways of shooting, which opened the opportunity to change throughout the semester.
